Pastor Tom is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  He holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Arkansas; a B.S. degree from the University of Central Arkansas; and a professional A.S. degree in Cardio-Respiratory Science.  He received a Diploma in Ministerial Studies from Global University. 

Pastor Tom believes God has called him to be a bi-vocational pastor; to use his experience in clinical practice and education in the public market place where life really happens.  Tom works with UAMS at the University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville as the director of a respiratory therapy program.  Tom previously served Newport First Assembly as pastor from 1995-2002.  He also served in ministry in Clinton (Sr. Pastor), Fayetteville (Associate Pastor) and Batesville (worship director). 

Angela is a gifted musician and vocalist.  She uses her wisdom, grace and compassion to touch the life of everyone she meets.  In addition to her responsibilities as a mother and pastor’s wife, she is a part time associate with Bank of America.
