Sex Ed 101 Teen reads 1 Corinthians 10:13 (New Living Translation) But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it. Parent and teen take turns finishing this statement: The one thing that sticks out to me the most from this verse is… Parent shares a time when they were a teenager and struggled with sexual temptation. Teen listens without judging. Teen shares a time when they've struggled with sexual temptation. Parent listens without judging. Parent Says: I want you to be able to come to me at any time and share sexual struggles you have and ask any questions you have about relationships. Parent and teen take turns .nishing these statements: One of the doors I think I've allowed sexual temptation to come in our home is… One way I think I can slam the door on that sexual temptation is… When I'm tempted sexually, what I really want is…(Examples: to feel loved, to feel attractive, to feel powerful, friendship, to be wanted, to escape, etc.) Real Life Connection Agree to respect each other's struggle and keep each other's con.dence regarding what you've shared. Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS
Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
